What this site is for
This website describes the chimney, fireplace, dryer vent and air duct services 503 Chimney Sweep offers, lists our starting prices, and gives general information about chimneys and fireplaces. The information is general guidance, and it is no substitute for an inspection of your own chimney.
Posted prices and quotes
Prices on this site are starting prices for parts and labor on a typical residential chimney or appliance. The price for your job is the one we agree on with you before the work begins.
A quote based on photos is an estimate built from what the photos show. If the chimney turns out to need something different once we can see inside it, we explain the difference and agree on any change with you before continuing.
Posted prices can change over time, and the price agreed for your job is the one that applies to it.
Inspections and safety information
An inspection describes the condition of the chimney on the day we look at it, to the extent the level of inspection allows. It is not a guarantee of future performance.
Our guides explain what a homeowner can safely look at and check from the ground and the hearth. They are not instructions for roof work, masonry repair or relining, and you use the information on this site at your own risk.
If an inspection finds a hazard, the fireplace or stove should not be used until the hazard is corrected. If there is a fire in the chimney, leave the house and call 911.
Text messages
By checking the consent box on the quote form, or by texting us first, you agree to receive texts about your request, such as questions about the fireplace or chimney, the quote, scheduling and arrival updates. Message frequency depends on your request, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Arrival windows
Arrival windows are an estimate made at the time of booking. Traffic, weather, roof conditions and earlier jobs can move them, and we will tell you when a window changes.

Manufacturer and product names on this site belong to their owners and are used only to describe the equipment we service. 503 Chimney Sweep is an independent chimney service company.
